I am a doctorate-prepared dual-certified Nurse Practitioner with a holistic approach to healthcare, specializing in family and mental health. Passionate about helping others, I provide compassionate, solution-focused care tailored to each patient’s needs. My goal is to deliver comprehensive care that empowers patients to achieve optimal well-being.
Hi there! I'm glad you found your way here.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just plain exhausted, you are not alone. A lot of the
people I work with describe a similar experience: on the surface, life looks manageable, but
internally, it is a different story. Thoughts that won't quiet down, energy that's hard to find, or
stress from past experiences that never quite resolved themselves.
You don't have to keep carrying that on your own.
I work with patients navigating a wide range of mental challenges, from anxiety, ADHD,
depression, and mood disorders to trauma, life transitions, burnout, and beyond. My goal is
straightforward: to help you feel more like yourself again, and more in control of your day-to-day life.

In my practice, I take a comprehensive, person-centered approach to care. I believe that true healing requires attention to the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. This means I look at all aspects of your well-being, not just your symptoms, to develop a holistic treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.
As a trauma survivor myself, I deeply understand the challenges of navigating mental and emotional health. Hi! My name is Dawn Gutierrez. I am a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in healthcare.
My clinical experience spans across Family Health, Women's Health, Behavioral Health, Emergency and Trauma comprehensive care at the Military Hospital for over 15 years. I then specialized in gender-affirming services such as hormone therapy and ongoing care for transgender and gender-diverse individuals. While providing care for the LGBQTIA community, I was drawn to continuing my education in Mental Health Care to provide Psychiatric services to this community as well.
I approach each patient with respect for their lived experience, identity, and goals, emphasizing collaborative decision-making and individualized treatment plans. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, clinical excellence, and a strong belief that affirming, accessible healthcare is essential to both mental and physical well-being.
I have extensive experience delivering care through both telehealth and in-clinic settings, allowing me to meet patients where they are and reduce barriers to access. I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care in a safe, respectful, and affirming environment.
Outside of work I enjoy spending quality time with my family, which brings balance to the work I love. Caring for others—both at home and in my practice—is at the heart of who I am.
