When anxiety feels like it's running your life, or when thoughts keep looping no matter what you try, 25 years of experience makes a real difference. I'm Dr. Pamela Dobbins, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than two decades of practice working with adults through anxiety, panic, depression, and grief. I bring clinical depth and a direct, practical approach to every session. Clients often describe me as steady, clear, and genuinely invested in helping them build skills that last.
I am Shaliss Padilla MA, LMFT, the Founder, CEO and Clinical Supervisor of group private practice MindbodyologyTM. I am also a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. In addition, I am a Holistic Psychotherapist, (or what I have coined a MindbodyologistTM), also a Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Specialist. I offer live and online support groups and workshops for survivors of narcissitic abuse and toxic relationships.
If anxiety, depression, burnout, or mood changes are making it harder to function at work, in relationships, or day to day, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 15+ years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, mood disorders, panic, overthinking, irritability, sleep concerns, and hormonal-related mood changes, including PMDD. My goal is to help you understand what’s happening and create a clear path forward.
Hey Yall!
Life Be Lifin! Sometimes it gets hard, and you need a space to just talk it all the way out. You are at the right place! Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Patricia, and I am a mental health therapist with 14 years' experience in community mental health! I specialize in working with individuals (adults, families and teens) who are working through life changes and transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management and substance abuse.
I work with clients to help them make meaning and transform the often overwhelming, distressing, and confusing life experiences we all face. I use humor, honesty, perception, and compassion to create the space that will help us access the most lively and generative core of your self that is often overshadowed by relationship struggles, trauma, and other life transitions.
As a licensed therapist, I deeply value authentic human connection. I see our time together as sacred and hold so much gratitude for the chance to be part of your healing journey. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change—thank you for being here. Let's do this together.
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, and I work with each client to understand their unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I strive to create a space where you can be open and honest without judgment, while working together to better understand yourself, develop practical tools, and create meaningful change.
Before becoming a social worker, I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. My background in dance has shaped the way I think about the connection between the mind, body, emotions, and overall well-being. I value the role that creativity, self-expression, and awareness can play in healing and personal growth. I also believe that humor, honesty, and authenticity have a place in therapy, and I want you to feel comfortable being your whole self in our work together.
I began my career in an inpatient psychiatric facility. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas in 2005. I moved to California right after graduation to provide therapy in an under served county in Northern California. In 2010 I moved back to Texas in preparation of starting my own family and to be near my aging parents. I tailor my therapeutic approach based on the needs of my clients. I believe that people are more open when they don’t feel judged.

As a mixed-race, Queer therapist, I support other LGBTQ folks, providing a safe space to simply be. I believe our varying identities impact the way the world interacts with us, and how our mental health symptoms present. I view my therapeutic role as balancing support and action to nudge you into new patterns that better support you.
