Jennifer Sears is a licensed therapist and anxiety specialist who helps people navigate anxiety, OCD, and emotional overwhelm. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor originally from Augusta, GA. I graduated from Paine College and Mercer University, I began my career with an enriching internship at Positive Impact Health Centers. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working in addiction treatment, intensive outpatient programs, and with individuals experiencing psychotic disorders.
In 2019, I became fully licensed and continued to grow at Georgia Psychological Treatment Center, where I deepened my understanding of the human psyche and embraced a more intuitive approach to healing. This path led me to earn a Master Life Coach Certification and a Master’s in Divinity, focusing on consciousness, spirituality, energy healing, and transpersonal psychology.
Along the way, I’ve gathered meaningful experiences and powerful tools, including training in EMDR, to help support trauma healing. As a transpersonal therapist, I integrate the mind, body, and soul into my work to help you achieve your goals and come into deeper harmony with your Self.
I believe growth happens when we learn to face ourselves with honesty and compassion. I work with adults who feel stuck in recurring patterns, relationship struggles, anxiety, life transitions, or questions about who they are and who they want to become. My style is warm, direct, and engaging—I’ll support you, but I’ll also help you see the things that may be difficult to see on your own. While we won't shy away from hard conversations, I believe humor can often help us approach difficult truths with a little more courage and perspective. Together, we'll work toward greater confidence, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of identity.
If you're reading this, something's weighing on you. Maybe it's your relationship, your family, or just a heaviness you haven't been able to shake. I've been in the mental health field for over 20 years, working with individuals, couples, and families through some of their hardest seasons. I especially love working with men who show up even when asking for help doesn't come naturally. Whatever you're carrying, we can start there. No need to have it all figured out first.
