I'm a licensed mental health counselor with formal training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and a background in crisis stabilization — which means I've worked with adults navigating some of the most intense emotional experiences imaginable, and I know that the hardest moments don't define where someone ends up. My style is direct and warm. I'm not the kind of therapist who nods a lot and says "how does that make you feel?" — I'll actually teach you skills, explain what's happening in your brain and body,
and work with you to figure out what gets in the way of the life you want. I also happen to believe that therapy doesn't have to be heavy all the time. Humor and humanity belong in the room too. I work with adults across New York via telehealth, and I accept Aetna, Cigna, Carelon, and Highmark plans.
For 18 years I have worked alongside adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and the transitions that turn life upside down. I believe therapy works best when you can show up exactly as you are. In our sessions, we build on your strengths, move at a pace that feels right for you, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Whether you are navigating a specific challenge or simply looking for a space to better understand yourself, I would love to connect.
I have been working as a licensed psychologist for more than 30 years, providing individual and group psychotherapy to older adolescents and adults within diverse settings, including inpatient and intensive outpatient eating disorder treatment facilities, skilled nursing facilities, college counseling centers, community mental health clinics, and private practice.
Having served as Director of College and Career Services for Oxford College of Emory University, and Dean of Students for New York Film Academy, I have particular passion and expertise for working with college-age adults--helping them navigate the overwhelming life-stage challenges of forging identity, living independently, deciding career and major, cultivating relationships, managing academic demands—while, encouraging them to honor their unique physical and mental health needs.
Welcome! I'm Jill Rosenberg, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Life Coach. I understand that seeking help can be a brave and vulnerable step and I appreciate you considering me as someone you can trust. I foster a warm and comfortable relationship where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. It's where you have the opportunity and safety to develop the confidence and skills to make meaningful changes in your life. I'm excited to offer you my expertise, support, and passion.
I work with children, teens, young adults, and men navigating anxiety, depression, social anxiety, trauma, and life’s challenges. I support children with IEPs and teens working through identity, relationships, confidence, and emotions. I have a particular interest in working with boys and men who want to better understand and process their emotions, especially those coping with trauma. If you are a male seeking a therapist for the first time, you do not have to know exactly what to say or where to begin. Therapy can be a place to feel understood, build confidence, and develop healthier ways to cope.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, with more than 11 years of psychiatric experience. I strive to provide safe access to mental health services across the lifespan and specialize in a wide range of psychiatric conditions. I am certified in medical Marijuana and Suboxone.
Welcome—I’m Danielle, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) dedicated to supporting individuals on their path toward healing, growth, and emotional well-being. I provide a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, build resilience, and reconnect with your strengths.
I have been a social worker practicing psychotherapy for 25 years. I have enjoyed working with a variety of people with many different experiences, both in clinic settings and in private practice. For the past 10 years I have been the director of an outpatient substance abuse treatment clinic. I enjoy helping people work through past trauma and find a way forward. I believe that therapy can benefit anyone who is curious about themselves and wants to improve their lives.
