I have been in the health care field for over 10 years. When working with individuals, I believe it’s important to take a humanistic approach and focus on what a client’s goals. Providing a safe non-judgement space is important in order to have a successful relationship. I like to meet individuals where they are and utilize a person-centered approach when discussing coping skills or creating goals for outside of the counseling session.
Life moves fast, and it is so easy to wake up and realize you are running on everyone else's schedule instead of your own. Do you ever feel completely scattered, wondering what happened to the vibrant person you used to be? I get it. Navigating the beautiful, messy chaos of a growing family and the relentless pressure to "juggle it all" is no joke. That exact season of life is what drove me to dive headfirst into specialized training in women's mental health. As a licensed counselor since 2017 holding a diagnostic license, I am fiercely passionate about being the anchor—and the support system—I wish I’d had. Whether you're navigating motherhood, identity shifts, or a major life transition, we’ll work together to help you step back into your power and find your footing again.
I am a NYU-trained Filipino-American therapist with a background in medicine and technology. I am experienced in working with high-achieving professionals, BIPOC, AAPI, immigrants, and healthcare workers.
Hello and welcome! I am private practice therapist with LCSW licensure in the states of New York and Florida. I earned my Master in Science of Social Work from Columbia University in the City of New York with a focus in Advanced Clinical Practice. I have a background working with clients in urban, suburban and rural inpatient and outpatient mental health settings as well as schools and community agencies. I have worked with individuals from various walks of life facing a range of life events and mental health issues.
I'm a therapist trained in Psychoanalysis and Creative Arts Therapies with twenty years years of experience.
I have experience working with depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, sexual difficulties, trauma, loss, end of life issues, and coping with medical illness. My practice is diverse in terms of culture, race, and sexual orientation. I offer online telehealth in NY and CT. Please reach out with any further questions or to make an appointment.
My therapeutic approach focuses on my belief that when it comes to an individual’s life, they are the expert. However, managing that alone can be cumbersome and stressful. As a therapist, I’m interested in collaborating with you to discover what parts of your life you hope to keep or perhaps enrich and what factors you want to change. I look to combine my experience with my clinical knowledge to aid clients in their journey to becoming their best selves.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and my background blends clinical skills in both counseling and nursing. I have years of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, relationship patterns, identity questions, and major life transitions.
I’m a clear communicator and bring emotional steadiness and the ability to understand people quickly to my work.
In my practice, I work primarily with adults who want to understand themselves more deeply, break long‐standing patterns, and feel more grounded and confident in their daily lives. I have extensive experience supporting clients who struggle with self‐criticism, avoidance, perfectionism, and the lingering impact of family dynamics. I also work with high‐functioning professionals to help them maximize their insights, achieve balance, and unlock their potential.
Outside of my clinical work, I’m grounded by a long, loving marriage, a close circle of friends, and a life that includes equal parts structure and humor. I’m a dog person, someone who values connection and curiosity, and I try to show up fully in the relationships that matter. These parts of my life shape the way I practice: with steadiness, clarity, and a genuine respect for the complexity of being human.
Seeking support takes courage, and you don't have to navigate life's challenges on your own. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York, I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and other emotional stressors.
My clinical experience spans a variety of mental health settings, where I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing diverse emotional and behavioral challenges. Throughout my training, I gained experience conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing individual, family, and group counseling, and collaborating with multidisciplinary treatment teams. I have supported individuals living with serious and persistent mental illness, trauma, co-occurring mental health concerns, and behavioral disorders, while also working closely with children and families using evidence-based approaches such as Solution-Focused Therapy, behavioral interventions, play-based techniques, and family-centered care.
