I'm Dr. Jason Johnson, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Washington State University. I have over 15 years of experience in mental health, starting as a counselor before advancing into psychiatry. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and weight-related mental health concerns, using a comprehensive approach that includes therapy, medications, nutrition, and hormone support. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where we work together to help you feel your best.

I have a Masters in Clinical Health Psychology and a Masters in Nutrition/Dietetics, which helps lend to a holistic approach to my work with clients. I commonly work with health behavioral change, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, ADHD, OCD, and relationship change. My treatment approach utilizes a biopsychosocial lense in long-term therapy based in psychodynamic, strengths-based, and integrative work in overall health. Hi! I am a board certified DNP-PMHNP-BC. I started my career in traditional health practices as a Fulbright Scholar in Sochi, Russia. I presented my research at the US Embassy in Moscow. Following the completion of my grant I attended New York University (NYU). From there I completed a residency at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. Following this I entered and completed my doctorate at USD University of San Diego, California with a focus on digital telehealth treatment for psychiatric care. I have a passion for working with the veteran population and those seeking care outside the box. I recently completed my facilitation for psychadelic assisted therapy and have an additional practice in Denver, Colorado. I enjoy yoga, swimming and all the water sports!
