You may be dealing with anxiety, depression, changes in mood, difficulty focusing, poor sleep, or simply feeling unlike yourself lately. Maybe you’ve tried treatment before and still have questions, or you’re considering psychiatric care for the first time and aren’t sure where to begin. At Harborline Psychiatry, we work with adults who want to better understand what they’re experiencing and take an active role in their care. We start by slowing things down, looking at the whole picture, and building a treatment plan that makes sense for you.
I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients throughout Florida. My approach is thoughtful and collaborative: we’ll consider your symptoms, history, concerns, and goals before deciding what treatment should look like. When medication is appropriate, I’ll explain the options and reasoning so we can make those decisions together.
Reaching out for psychiatric care can feel like a big step, especially if you’ve felt unheard or uncertain about treatment in the past. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, collaborative approach to your mental health, I’d be glad to help you find a steadier way forward.
Something changed, and you are ready to understand it. Whether anxiety keeps you on edge, depression dims the things you love, trauma has you stuck in patterns you cannot shake, or mood swings have made life feel unpredictable, you deserve care that actually makes sense for you. I am Richard, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a doctoral degree. I take a compassionate, collaborative approach to medication management, and I am here to help you find your direction forward.
Taylor Kirk, LCSW, is a Florida-based therapist with extensive experience supporting adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds. I work with high-functioning adults who look like they have it together and are quietly running on empty—people whose competence has become the thing they hide behind. My foundation is TEAM-CBT, an evidence-based approach I'm certified in at the highest level (Level 3 Advanced) through the Feeling Good Institute, and I train regularly with the Beck Institute. It gives our work real structure and proven tools. But symptoms usually rest on something older, and that's where the deeper work happens. I work most with anxiety, perfectionism, conditional self-worth, and the depletion that hides underneath a successful life.
If your child is dealing with big emotions, school stress, conflict at home, or the ups and downs that can come with ADHD, oppositional behaviors, anxiety, or depression, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I enjoy working with tweens, teens, and young adults, and I help families better understand what’s going on so things can feel less overwhelming and more manageable. My goal is to help your child feel more grounded, understood, and hopeful.
