I work with new parents, expectant mothers, and hopeful parents who are navigating the emotional challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, or the grief of a miscarriage. Many of the clients who come to me are overwhelmed by anxiety or sadness after experiencing challenges during the parenthood journey, or just not feeling like themselves. My goal is to help you heal, find your footing again, and develop effective coping strategies that will serve you long-term.
I have been providing direct care to individuals 18 years and older for 23 years. I earned my Master of Social Work from Hunter School of Social Work. I have experience working with individuals with experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, mid-life transitions, trauma, chronic health conditions, family conflicts and stress management. I find it rewarding to be a part of a person's therapy journey and to be a catalyst to positive change in their lives.
I primarily work with individuals navigating the perinatal period. This includes people who are just starting to think about pregnancy, those currently expecting or navigating infertility and loss, and parents. I specialize in helping those who might be struggling with their mental health or are worried about how their own experiences will shape their relationship with their children.
I’m a clinical health psychologist who works with adults facing health challenges, life transitions, and periods when life feels harder than it used to. My clinical and research work have focused on the connection between psychological and physical health, with particular expertise in Parkinson’s disease and neurological conditions.
I also work with anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and sleep difficulties. Whether you’re adjusting to a new diagnosis, coping with a major life change, or feeling stuck in patterns that are no longer working, I aim to provide a thoughtful, nonjudgmental space while helping you find practical ways forward.
I earned my MSW from Hunter College with a focus on children and families. My work in shelters, foster care, schools, and psychiatric care shaped my passion for helping others heal. Since 2017, I’ve provided trauma-informed therapy to those navigating mood disorders, substance use, domestic violence, and sexual abuse with care and respect.
