I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving women in Montana and Florida through my private practice, Heart Development Strategies, LLC. I earned my Master of Social Work from Western New Mexico University and hold a graduate certificate in Rural Community Social Work. I am trained in EMDR, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, Internal Family Systems, and strengths-based, person-centered approaches.
I specialize in working with emotionally and mentally exhausted women navigating anxiety, burnout, compassion fatigue, trauma, and major life transitions. Many of the women I work with are leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and caregivers who have spent years holding everything together while quietly losing touch with themselves. Women often come to me because they want someone real, warm, honest, and straightforward. I am not here to impress you or give you a script to follow. I meet you where you are with truth, compassion, and practical support.
Please note, outside of Headway insurance I also accept Mountain Health Co-Op, Peak PPO.

I believe the greatest relationship one could ever have is the one with themselves. Oftentimes, we tend to get lost in the expectations of our families, society, culture, relationships, religion, etc., and find ourselves unhappy with the person staring back at us. Regardless of which of these feels true, the journey to yourself can be scary, uncertain, and uncomfortable; however, not impossible. Together, with you in mind, I aim to serve as a guide to assist you with healing past hurts by helping you become more self-aware; accepting and trusting your feelings and experiences; alleviating your distress; and living an authentic life.
I have over 22 years of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in both the State of Florida and New York, having earned two Master's degrees from Long Island University. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I hold certifications in several treatment modalities including Beautiful Me (self-esteem program for teens), Nature Informed Therapy, mindfulness and trauma resolution.
I am here for you and I look forward to supporting and guiding you through your challenges. I hope to positively motivate you to make changes and to a place of better health, social functioning, and ultimately, happiness.
